Okay, so recently I bought myself the whole Keisha'ra series (actually, it was one 900 page book with the five stories inside - for a very low price I might add) which consists of Hawksong, Snakecharm, Falcondance, Wolfcry, and Wyvernhail. The author, Amelia Atwater-Rhodes, is one of my favorites. I've read her other book...Shattered Mirror I think it was called. I really liked that one too. She's an excellent writer. I just felt like stumbling on her website and I came across something very helpful while reading what advice she had for writers. Check it, bam, link:

She made some very good points and reminded me that you should just write to get the words out, and the more you write the better you get. Lately I've completely thrown that out the door and my main focus was to just write good quality stuff, and because of that I was reluctant to write at all.
I just found reading what she wrote very helpful and refreshing. Next time I write, I'll make sure to keep in mind what she (and those other authors she quoted) said.
Yeah, that's great advice. Not to get intimidated like every word and sentence has to be awesome in order for you to write any further. Because that's what second drafts are for. Keep writing, Kelly! You so good at it!
